Wonderful gem on the edge of the Chobe River
We stayed at Kubu Lodge for 3 nights as part of a wider tour of Botswana & Zimbabwe. We couldn't fault it - the chalets were lovely, set amongst the lovely garden on the edge of the river. Along with the resident warthogs and bushbuck! Without exception the staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive and prepared to go the extra mile! The food was amazing and we felt very lucky to have a private meal in the Boma on our last night - a very special touch! None of us wanted to leave!

Lovely Lodge
Lovely chalets on the banks of the river. Nice clean and very comfortable accommodation. The restaurant offers great food and the gardens are excellent. A very well organised lodge. Very commendable and enjoyable.

Great location on the banks of the Chobe River
This small and perfectly formed lodge was ideal for our stay in Botswana and base for the safari drives in Chobe. The rooms are spotlessly clean, built in a way that it remains cool in the rooms even though it is nearly 40° C outside. The restaurant has outdoor seating which overlooks the Chobe river. The food was excellent, even the salads on offer for lunch and especially the 3 course dinners. The staff are all friendly, greeting you each time you pass and welcoming you everyone you return from a trip outside. On the last night of our stay, the team surprised us with a private dinner for our wedding anniversary which made it truest special. Thanks to the manager Sharon and team! Pineape who took us on the boat cruise was a also gem.
